- As moedas são sempre negociadas em pares
- A primeira moeda em um par é conhecida como a "moeda base".
- A segunda moeda do par é conhecida como a "moeda de cotação".

Exemplo 1

### EURUSD

- Se fosse negociar EURUSD e você comprasse, estaria comprando euros e vendendo dólares americanos.
- Se você comprasse 1 lote de CFD de EURUSD a um preço de 1,1800, você estaria comprando 100.000 euros e vendendo 118.000 dólares americanos.
- Se o preço do EURUSD mudasse de 1,1800 para 1,1850, isso significaria que você fez 50 pips. Depois de comprar 1 lote de CFD, isso resultaria em um lucro de US $ 500. No entanto, se o preço cair para 1,1785, então você perderia 15 pips com uma perda de 150.

Exemplo 2

### EURGBP

- Se fosse negociar EURGBP e você vendesse, você estaria vendendo euros e comprando libras esterlinas.
- Se você vendesse 1 lote de CFD de EURGBP ao preço de 0,9000, você estaria vendendo 100.000 euros e comprando 90.000 libras esterlinas.
- Se o preço do EURGBP mudar para 0,9025, esta é uma mudança de 25 pips e uma perda de £ 250. No entanto, se o preço cair para 0,8940, então você terá um lucro de £ 600.
